Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and creative Junior Marketing Executive to support our marketing efforts and help grow our brand presence. This role is ideal for someone with experience of more than 6 months in marketing, preferably in the software services industry, who is eager to learn, grow, and make an impact.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Branding Support:
- Assist in creating and posting engaging content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
- Support brand consistency across all channels through messaging and visuals.
- Collaborate with design and content teams to create banners, marketing copies, and campaign materials.
Competitor & Market Research:
- Conduct basic SWOT analysis of competitors and assist in gathering insights about industry trends.
- Use tools like SEMrush or SimilarWeb (with guidance) to research keywords, backlinks, and traffic sources.
- Support in tracking competitors social media and blog strategies.
Content Development:
- Help create blog posts, website content, social media captions, and email newsletters tailored to our target audience.
- Assist in writing engaging LinkedIn posts for company updates and announcements.
Performance & Analytics:
- Support in collecting marketing performance data (social media engagement, website traffic, email open rates).
- Assist in preparing weekly and monthly performance reports using tools like Google Analytics or social media dashboards.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with senior marketing team members, designers, sales, and tech teams to support integrated campaigns.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for campaign ideas and marketing strategies.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing concepts, especially social media marketing and content writing.
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, Buffer/Hootsuite, Google Analytics, or similar.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinking and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Degree is not mandatory.
- 1+ year of marketing experience, ideally in an IT services or software development company.
- Exposure to digital marketing platforms and website CMS (WordPress, Wix, etc.) is a plus.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of graphic design basics or tools like Canva/Photoshop.
- Certifications in digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.).
- Proficiency in English and one regional language.
