Position Overview
As an IT Solution Architect specializing in Procurement, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing procurement solutions that meet the needs of our organization on a global scale. This role requires strong technical and strategic skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross -functional teams.
You will work closely with various stakeholders to understand business requirements and leverage technology to streamline procurement processes, improve efficiency, reduce costs, and drive value. You will be responsible for designing and implementing technology solutions that streamline our procurement processes for various type of procurement.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to create a seamless and efficient Procurement ecosystem. You are also expected to ensure smooth and resilient operations with high degree of accuracy and 100% compliance to IT, Business, Statutory and regulatory policies, and needs.
Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, IT, finance, and business units, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions and system configurations.
- Configure and customize procurement systems, such as e -procurement platforms, ERP systems, and supplier management tools, to meet business needs and optimize procurement processes.
- Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation to ensure the integrity and functionality of procurement systems and processes.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end -users, including procurement professionals, suppliers, and stakeholders, to resolve system issues and optimize system performance.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including system requirements, user guides, and training materials, to support procurement system implementations, enhancements, and upgrades.
- Monitor system performance, data integrity, and compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and innovation in procurement operations, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in procurement, supply chain management, and enterprise systems, and assess their potential impact on procurement operations.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives related to procurement transformation, digitalization, and strategic sourcing to support organizational goals and objectives.
Essential
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Typically, 12+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Prior experience in a global role or multi -national company is an advantage.

Desired
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPM, CPSM) is desirable.
- Role Specific Qualifications/Certifications
- Master&aposs degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Strong understanding of procurement software, e-procurement tools like SAP Ariba, and ERP systems.
Leadership skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Project management experience is a plus.
