Roles & Responsibilities
Automate the build validation, tagging and deployment/release standpoint.
Setup cloud solution environment, Plan, Configure, build and implement cloud solution, code pipelines and create automated solutions that can be frame worked and re-used.
Design and build re-usable AWS platform solution for accelerated implementation of CI/CD pipelines on AWS stack
Own and maintain various infrastructure/environments, monitoring, backups and other operational activities
Produce high-quality technical design, build blueprints
Configure access and security.
Write scripts and automation using Perl/Python/Groovy/Java/Bash/Shell
Configure and manage data sources like MySQL, Mongo, Elasticsearch, Redis, Cassandra, Hadoop, etc
Manage source control including SVN, GITLAB and Jenkin.
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
Working with all stakeholders from product release standpoint.
Experience in providing RCA, dig deep to understand end-user impacting issues and provide actionable long-term fixes
Requirements
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience with 3+ years building secure, scalable architecture in any one cloud technology such as AWS, Azure and Google cloud
Must have good knowledge in GitLab, Jenkins, Unix/Linux scripting and other associated tools from operations perspectives.
Mandatory experience using AWS Beanstalk, AWS CodeDeploy, AWS CodeCommit, AWS CodePipeline, OpsWorks, CloudFormation etc. and other AWS cloud services.
Experience with 12 Factor implementations
Good understanding of cloud design considerations and limitations in the areas of virtualization and global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing and networking, massive data storage and processing.
Experience with infrastructure configuration management tools such as Puppet and Chef are added advantages
Ability to communicate in a DevOps environment with the team, managers, business units and stakeholders is mandatory.
