Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
DevOps Engineer (Python) with strong expertise in cloud platforms, automation, and CI/CD practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable infrastructure, implementing automation solutions, and ensuring system reliability across environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for high-availability applications.
- Build and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform/CloudFormation.
- Develop Python-based automation scripts to streamline operational tasks.
- Manage and optimize containerized applications using Docker and EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
- Monitor system health and performance using CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, and Splunk.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance deployment workflows and system reliability.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices in cloud deployments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause analysis for long-term fixes.
Primary Skills (Must-Have)
- Strong experience as a DevOps Engineer with 68 years of hands-on expertise.
- Proficiency in AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, etc.).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar).
- Expertise in Terraform/CloudFormation for infrastructure automation.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Python scripting & automation.
- Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, Splunk).
Good-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and containerized environments.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Exposure to cost-optimization strategies on AWS.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
