Metantz works with a curated network of innovative product startups and tech companies across Bangalore, helping them find and place top engineering talent. We are currently sourcing strong DevOps Engineers for multiple high-growth startups building in SaaS, Fintech, Deeptech, and enterprise software spaces. What You'll Be Doing
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable fast and reliable software delivery
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, Azure
- Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or Pulumi
- Monitor system health, performance, and reliability using observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack)
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams on containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Drive security best practices across environments - secrets management, access controls, vulnerability scanning
- Automate repetitive operational tasks to reduce toil and improve developer experience
- Support incident response, root cause analysis, and on-call rotations
What We're Looking For
Must-Have
- 1–4 years of hands-on DevOps or SRE experience in a product or startup environment
- Strong working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS preferred)
- Experience with containerization - Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Solid scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go
- Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or equivalent
Good to Have
- Experience working in early-stage or high-growth startups
- Exposure to service mesh, Istio, or Helm charts
- Familiarity with cost optimization on cloud environments
- Prior work with GitOps practices (ArgoCD, FluxCD)
