Job Description

Company Description : We are seeking a hands-on DevOpsEngineer to build, deploy, and maintain the underlying technical pipelines, cost-observability tools, and automated guardrail engines that power our infrastructure economics. In this role, you will bridge the gap between engineering, platform architecture, and cloud financial operations; translating complex financial logic into production-grade code, real-time telemetry pipelines, and automated remediation workflows across multi-cloud, hybrid, and high-density GPU compute environments.

In this role, you will

  • Engineer, scale, and maintain automated ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, clean, and normalize granular billing data (AWS CUR, Azure Cost Management, GCP Billing, OCI) alongside high-frequency time-series telemetry (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, ClickHouse).
  • Implement and configure container-level cost-allocation tooling (e.g., OpenCost, Kubecost) and custom exporters across Kubernetes clusters to measure VRAM, GPU/Tensor core utilization (via NVIDIA DCGM), and bin-packing efficiency.
  • Design and deploy automated remediation scripts, policy engines, and serverless workflows to flag or auto-terminate idle compute, over-provisioned VRAM/headroom, orphaned volumes, and unassigned hardware assets.
  • Program real-time cost anomaly detection rules, dynamic threshold alerts, and automated budget enforcement hooks using serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions) or OPA (Open Policy Agent).
  • Build custom collectors and API integrations to capture facility-level metrics (kW/h per rack, PUE) and physical server metrics into centralized cost dashboards and telemetry backends.
  • Construct and maintain dynamic Grafana dashboards, custom visualization portals, and developer-facing CLI tools to give engineering teams real-time visibility into workload spend and unit costs (e.g., Cost per Token, Cost per Inference Call).
  • Integrate modern AI/LLM tools and code assistants into your engineering workflow to accelerate pipeline development, query synthesis (SQL/ClickHouse), and anomaly detection logic.

Required Qualification

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or FinOps Engineering.
  • Proficient in Python, Go, or Bash for writing API integrations, custom data pipelines, and automation scripts.
  • Strong operational knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, resource allocation (requests vs. limits), namespace isolation, and hands-on experience with cost tools like OpenCost or Kubecost.
  • Hands-on experience building queries and dashboards using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, SQL, or ClickHouse.
  • Practical experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, OpenTofu) and cloud billing APIs across at least two major hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI).
  • A habit of seamlessly integrating AI tools and automated coding assistants into daily engineering workflows to boost development velocity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • FinOps Certified Practitioner (FCP) or FinOps Certified Engineer.
  • Direct experience instrumenting hardware telemetry using NVIDIA DCGM exporters, CUDA metrics, or bare-metal monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with policy engines like Open Policy Agent (OPA), Kyverno, or AWS CloudWatch/EventBridge event-driven automation.
  • Experience with high-throughput columnar databases (e.g., ClickHouse, DuckDB, or Snowflake) for handling multi-gigabyte daily billing logs and high-frequency time-series data.
  • Exposure to DCIM platforms or data center power usage metrics (PUE, rack-level power draws).

Why Now
