Experience:
- 9+ hands on experience on Devops.
- Lead complex features (e.g., multi-stage release with contract tests, ephemeral envs); own quality gates end-to-end.
- Performance tune builds/deploys; reduce flake; add chaos/smoke and rollback automation.
- Mentor juniors; contribute ADRs and platform templates.
Must-have skills
- Hands-on with GitHub Actions (composite actions, reusable workflows, environments, OIDC), and prior Azure/AWS/GCP DevOps pipelines (for migration).
- Docker image build & hardening; multi-stage builds; SBOM generation.
- Kubernetes administration (ingress, HPA, RBAC, NetworkPolicies) and packaging with Helm.
- Terraform (modules, workspaces, state mgmt, policy-as-code basics).
- Observability with Prometheus (recording rules, alerts) and Grafana (dashboards, alerting); basic tracing concepts.
- CI security: dependency/image/IaC scanning; secrets management; signing and provenance.
- Git fundamentals: branch protections, trunk/PR workflows, code review best practices.
Nice-to-have
- Service mesh, Canary/Argo Rollouts; Testcontainers/WireMock in CI; OPA/Conftest; OpenTelemetry; cost monitoring; Azure/AWS cloud ops.
- Payments/fintech exposure (secure data handling, audit logging, ISO 20022-aware test data).
- Experience using GitHub Copilot effectively (prompt patterns, code review with AI, policy guardrails).
