Role Overview
As the Design Lead, you will be the creative visionary for the Durlabh Darshan brand. You will own the entire visual and user experience, from the UI/UX of our digital products to the brand identity and marketing graphics that engage our customers. This is a hands-on role for a leader who can establish a world-class design culture.
Key Responsibilities
Own the Brand & User Experience: Lead all design initiatives, establishing and maintaining a cohesive and compelling brand identity across all digital and physical touchpoints (App, VR experience, VR Kendras).
Lead UI/UX Design: Create intuitive, accessible, and engaging user-centric designs for our VR platform and associated applications. Develop wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
Drive Marketing & Brand Design: Design all marketing and communication collateral, including social media graphics, ad campaigns, event branding, and in-Kendra promotional materials.
Lead & Mentor: Guide and mentor other designers, setting a high bar for quality and fostering a collaborative, creative environment.
Collaborate for Impact: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to translate concepts into visually stunning and functional product and marketing experiences.
Qualifications & Skills
Pedigree: Degree from a Tier-1 design institute (NID, NIFT, etc.).
Experience
4+ years of professional design experience.
2+ years of experience leading a design function in a B2C company is mandatory.
Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing excellence in both UI/UX and brand/marketing graphic design.
Skills: Mastery of design tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. Strong understanding of design principles, user-centered design, and branding.
Good To Have
Experience in a fast-paced, 0-to-1 startup environment.
Passion for emerging technologies like AR/VR.
Motion graphics or video editing skills.
Familiarity with AI-powered design tools for ideation and asset creation.
