Role Overview

We are looking for a Design and Estimation Engineer with hands-on experience in the construction industry, particularly in LGSF (Light Gauge Steel Framing) technology. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, precision in estimation, and the ability to deliver accurate designs within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed designs, drawings, and 3D models for LGSF structures using industry-standard software.

Perform cost estimation, material take-offs, and quantity analysis for residential, commercial, and prefab projects.

Collaborate with the project and site teams to ensure designs align with technical and structural requirements.

Review project specifi cations, drawings, and scope of work to prepare accurate BOQs and cost proposals.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and project requirements during design and estimation stages.

Coordinate with vendors, clients, and consultants for design approvals and project updates.

Support project planning with technical documentation and cost optimization strategies.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering.

1 5 years of experience in design and estimation, preferably in the construction or prefab industry.

Strong working knowledge of LGSF (Light Gauge Steel Framing) systems.

Profi ciency in design and estimation software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, SketchUp, or STAAD Pro.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical drawing interpretation skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.

Preferred Experience:

Prior experience working on modular housing or steel structure projects.

Exposure to on-site project execution and client coordination.

Understanding of cost estimation standards, tendering, and construction scheduling. What We Offer
