Design Engineer

Die Casting Tools Manufacturing

• Conduct tool design reviews and assess manufacturing feasibility with the design team
• Analyze tool designs and develop manufacturing process plans
• Create process- and machine-specific designs for tool production
• Perform 3D programming using Work-NC software
• Coordinate closely with tool design and assembly teams for high-quality manufacturing

Tool Maintenance and Breakdown Reduction

• Execute timely preventive maintenance of machines
• Monitor first-pass yield and implement corrective actions
• Manage daily shift operations effectively to ensure uptime

Continual Product and Process Improvements

• Evaluate and implement new processes and technologies in tool manufacturing
• Collaborate with OEMs, suppliers, and technology partners to build a robust ecosystem

Quality and Safety Management

• Maintain shop floor discipline and enforce a safe working environment
• Work with design and assembly teams to enhance product quality
• Track and analyze first-pass yield and lead quality improvement initiatives

Organizational Imperatives

• Drive compliance with safety standards and internal regulations
• Lead change initiatives such as GRACE, TPM, Business Excellence, and BBS
• Develop and manage skill matrices and training plans
• Monitor KPIs under Enterprise Risk Management and ensure regular reporting
