Job Description

Location: Ahmedabad

Experience: 5-10 Years

  • Design and develop pharmaceutical injectable and non-pharma packaging machines from concept to final manufacturing.
  • Prepare complete 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
  • Design mechanical assemblies ensuring functionality, manufacturability, and ease of maintenance.
  • Develop innovative machine concepts to improve productivity and machine efficiency.
  • Optimize existing machine designs to reduce manufacturing cost and improve performance.

Injectable Machine Design

Experience In Designing Machines Such As:

  • Vial Washing Machines
  • Tunnel Sterilization Machines
  • Vial Filling & Rubber Stoppering Machines
  • Vial Capping Machines
  • Ampoule Filling & Sealing Machines
  • Injectable Liquid Filling Machines
  • Rotary Monoblock Machines
  • Linear Filling Machines

Non-Pharma Machine Design

Experience In Designing:

  • Bottle Filling Machines
  • Capping Machines
  • Labeling Machines
  • Conveyor Systems
  • Cartoning Machines
  • Liquid Filling Machines
  • Customized Special Purpose Machines (SPM)
  • Packaging Automation Systems

Design Documentation

  • Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings.
  • Generate Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Prepare exploded views and assembly manuals.
  • Maintain engineering change records.
  • Update drawings based on customer modifications.

Project Coordination

  • Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Planning, Automation, Service, and Quality departments.
  • Provide technical support during manufacturing and machine assembly.
  • Resolve design-related issues during production.
  • Support installation and commissioning teams when required.

Customer & Technical Support

  • Understand customer URS (User Requirement Specification).
  • Participate in technical discussions with customers.
  • Provide design modifications based on customer feedback.
  • Support FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test).

Continuous Improvement

  • Suggest cost reduction ideas.
  • Standardize machine components.
  • Improve machine reliability and ease of maintenance.
  • Implement design improvements based on service feedback.

Preferred Experience

  • 7–10 years in pharmaceutical packaging machinery manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience in injectable and non-pharma machine design.
  • Experience in customized machine development and automation projects.
  • Experience in machine validation documentation will be an added advantage.
