- To ensure smooth functioning of installed Instrumentation through effective & efficient maintenance management of C& I systems.
Key Responsibilities
(Performance Indicators)
- Implementation of WI/SOP/Check list and history sheet of instrumentation equipments.
- Responsible for planning, organizing & execution of scheduled maintenance activities in the plant.
- Following the preventive maintenance schedule of various instrumentation and control systems.
- Indenting of spares and follow up with purchase deptt and inspection of material.
- Maximum availability & reliability of Instrumentation system for efficient process control with desired safety of Man, Machine & environment.(Increase MTBF and reduce MTTR ).
- Time bound implementation of new / modification projects and key Initiatives like Six Sigma, WCM, Resource conservation, Zero Discharge, and Safety Capacity Building.
- Installation / cable termination for field instruments meeting the project schedules and Good Engineering practice.
- Optimization of departmental Inventory, budgetary planning and reduce the R&M cost.
- Development of In-house resources & skill to reduce dependability on OEM.
- Compliance to ISO and OHSAS requirements.
- Preparation of SOP for quick revival & trouble shooting of DCS systems.

Qualification & Experience
- B.E / B.Tech Instrumentation / I&C with 08-09years of experience in large integrated chemical complex / power plants.
