Job Summary
We are seeking a Deputy Manager – FP&A / FPNA with strong US Pharma experience to support the finance team. The role is responsible for analysing critical business and financial data such as Gross-to-Net (GTN), rebates, returns, chargebacks, dispute settlements, pricing adjustments, and deductions, and converting the findings into actionable insights for business leaders.
The incumbent will also manage one team member, support forecasting and reporting processes, and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to improve financial performance and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed analysis of Gross-to-Net (GTN) components including rebates, returns, chargebacks, discounts, and dispute settlements
- Review revenue trends, deduction patterns, and customer settlement data to identify financial risks and leakage
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve revenue realization and profitability
- Support monthly MIS, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Prepare management dashboards and performance reports for leadership reviews
- Collaborate with Commercial, Pricing, Market Access, SCM, and Accounting teams
- Analyze dispute settlements and recommend corrective actions to minimize recurring issues
- Assist in AOP, rolling forecast, and long-range financial planning
- Drive process improvements and reporting automation initiatives
- Lead and mentor 1 direct report
- Ensure compliance with internal finance controls and US pharma commercial policies
Required Qualifications
- CA / CMA / MBA Finance / CPA preferred
- 6–8 years of experience in FP&A / Commercial Finance
- Mandatory US Pharma industry exposure
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- GTN analysis
- Rebates and chargebacks
- Returns reserve
- Pricing and margin analysis
- Revenue forecasting
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI, SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or similar tools
- Strong analytical, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
