Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Deputy Manager Finance to join our growing team in Bhopal. The role requires a qualified Chartered Accountant with strong technical knowledge, analytical ability, and a solution-oriented approach. You will be responsible for financial reporting, compliance, and providing insights that drive decision-making for business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
Finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements in compliance with statutory requirements.
Ensure accurate and timely month-end/quarter-end/year-end closing.
Preparation of consolidated financial statements.
Compliance & Audit
Ensure compliance with Direct & Indirect Taxes, Companies Act, and other applicable laws.
Manage statutory, tax, and internal audits, ensuring adherence to timelines.
Management Reporting
Preparation of MIS, variance analysis, and financial dashboards for leadership review.
Provide actionable insights for decision-making.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Support in preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
Track performance against budgets and highlight variances.
Financial Controls
Implement strong internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting standards (AS & Ind AS).
Support process improvements and automation in finance operations.
Key Skills & Competencies
Qualified Chartered Accountant with 13 years of post-qualification experience
Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards (AS) & Ind AS
Expertise in account finalization, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Sound understanding of tax and regulatory compliances
Advanced skills in MIS, variance analysis, and financial modeling
Proficiency in MS Excel, financial tools, and ERP systems (preferred)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
