Job Description

This role focuses on designing and implementing converged IT/OT networks in mission-critical manufacturing environments. Key areas include:

Wired vs. wireless network assessments
Secure, high-availability connectivity for MES/MOM systems, AGVs, and industrial devices
RF planning and Wi-Fi deployment
Cybersecurity compliance
BOQ finalization and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert guidance on wired vs. wireless network strategies
Design and review converged IT/OT network architectures
Assess and support implementation of OT networks and wireless infrastructure
Ensure robust connectivity for MES/MOM systems and AGVs/ASRS
Perform RF planning and optimize industrial-grade Wi-Fi networks
Collaborate with MES/MOM stakeholders for real-time data needs
Integrate industrial equipment (PLCs, HMIs, sensors) with enterprise networks
Ensure cybersecurity compliance for OT environments
Finalize BOQs and coordinate with OEMs
Prepare detailed documentation and conduct handover sessions

Qualifications:

15+ years in network consulting, especially in industrial/OT environments
Deep knowledge of IT/OT networking protocols (Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP)
Familiarity with MES/MOM systems (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell, AVEVA)

Hands-on experience with:

Industrial wireless networks
RF planning
CURWB
Wi-Fi 6/6E
Experience with Cisco equipment (switches, routers, firewalls)
Preferred Certifications: CCNP/CCIE, ISA/IEC 62443
