Design and own the end-to-end architecture of a telecom lifecycle platform covering onboarding, orchestration, assurance, and decommissioning.
Translate business and operational requirements into scalable, resilient platform solutions and roadmaps.
Define platform integration patterns and APIs for OSS/BSS, RAN, Core, cloud, and third-party systems.
Lead platform development decisions: microservices, containerization (Kubernetes), CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
Ensure platform security, compliance, data governance, and multi-tenant isolation across environments.
Drive observability: logging, metrics, tracing, automated alerting, and SRE-led runbooks.
Mentor engineering teams, set architecture standards, and enforce best practices (DevSecOps, testing, code reviews).
Collaborate with product, operations, and customers to prioritize features, SLAs, and lifecycle automation.
Optimize cost, performance, and scalability across cloud/on-prem deployments and hybrid topologies.
Evaluate emerging telecom technologies (AI/ML, intent-based, TM Forum standards) and incorporate into platform roadmap.
TN Forum alignment
Deep understanding of telecom architecture: RAN, PS Core, CS Core, IP, transport
Familiarity with OSS/BSS, network orchestration, and lifecycle management
Knowledge of TM Forum standards (e.g., Open APIs, eTOM, SID)
Understanding of intent-based networks, AI/ML in telecom, and automation
Enterprise architecture and solution design (microservices, event-driven, cloud-native)
API design and integration patterns (REST, gRPC, Kafka, messaging queues)
Multi-cloud and hybrid architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP, on-prem)
Scalability, resilience, high availability, and disaster recovery design
Strong programming: Python, Java, Go, or similar
Containerization & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
Software testing, debugging, and automated deployment strategies
Network and application security, zero-trust architecture
Data governance, encryption, identity & access management
Compliance with telecom regulations and security standards
Logging, monitoring, tracing: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry
SRE practices, SLI/SLO definition, incident management
Automated alerting, runbooks, and operational excellence
Technical leadership, mentoring, and architecture governance
Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
Strategic thinking, roadmap planning, and prioritization
Strong communication (written and verbal) to technical and non-technical audiences
