What would you do The Contract Specialist will play a critical support role to the Sourcing team on the account across end-to-end contract lifecycle activities. This includes contract drafting support, contract reviews, variation reviews, prepare rationale to contract deviations, support contract negotiations and few ad-hoc post contract management tasks. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret commercial and legal provisions, and effective coordination with sourcing professionals and key stakeholders to ensure high-quality, timely, and compliant contract deliverables. 1. Contract Review & Drafting (a) Conduct structured contract reviews across all procurement pillars (Tactical and Strategic) in line with Client standards. (b) Prepare clear and concise contract departure rationales for deviations from templates or client requirements (both Client and Supplier paper). (c) Provide drafting support to the Sourcing team, ensuring Additional Conditions/clauses aligned during negotiations are accurately captured. (d) Assist with contract formatting and ensure adherence to approved templates and style guidelines. (e) Draft Contracts if requested by account lead. 2. Support to Sourcing Team (a) Respond to day-to-day contractual queries raised by sourcing teams (Contract advisors). (b) Provide risk insights and fallback positions to support commercial negotiations. (c) Support in providing Contract gap analysis (if required). 1.
