Job Description

Primary role as a Delegate Sales Manager will be to secure senior level delegates for our conference
portfolio. You will work with our client to understand the conference and target market, and build the
value proposition to successfully drive paid sales. We are looking for an energetic, driven, result oriented
sales representative to contribute as a highly motivated Delegate Sales Manager. Delegates attend
events in order to bolster their company's profile and visibility, therefore it is a Delegate Sales
Manager's role to engage with clients and make them aware of the benefits of attending a specific
conference or event.
Core Responsibilities:
1. The primary job function is to sell a range of delegate tickets over the telephone or via emails for new
business prospects to attend and be involved in events, additionally you must be able:
2. To research new leads and follow up existing leads.
3. To maximise sales time by targeting effectively the correct clients, their role and their companies
4. Managing a team of 2-4 sales Executives
5. Manage all sales calls with a professional and consistent sales process that integrates the key tenets
of successful sales

6. A strong communicator, both written and verbal, with 1-2years of experience calling senior level
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment with a proven track record of consistently achieving
revenue targets.
8. A quick learner with intellectual curiosity with the ability to understand different markets and subject
matter quickly. (As the events are topic based, this is very important)
9. Able to coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines, as well as keep accurate records;
10. A gogetter with the ability to work in a very autonomous environment.
11. Monitor sales data
12. Daily management and maintenance of sales records, ensuring they are kept up to date with
attendees and details
14. Supporting delegates through the registration process
15. To meet or succeed yearly and monthly revenue targets by selling consistently to all possible targets;
repeat delegates, new clients and prospects.
16. To convince the prospect of the benefits of attending our events
17. To ensure that business conduct reflects an enthusiastic and efficient image of the department

Experience Necessary:

Have experience in International B2B delegate sales for 1-2+yrs.
Have managed the team
Have an experience of coordinating with international client.
Demonstrate fluency in both written and spoken English
Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
Highly motivated, ambitious and constantly striving for excellence and success
Customer focused and knows how to build and maintain relationships
Self-motivation/drive with a work-ethic based on never giving up.
