Must-Have:

· 7 to 10 + Years of experience using DB2LUW database administration.

Strong knowledge in DB2LUW database administration with access management, performance tuning, DB health monitoring, replication and availability, Reporting Services.

Strong problem-solving skill with rational judgement, analysis power and root cause analysis.>

Key Responsibilities:

1. Database Administration: Install, Configure, Upgrade and patch IBM DB2LUW (v9.7 / 10.x/ 11.x/12.x) in AIX / Linux and windows environment. [Text Wrapping Break]2. Capacity Forecasting : Monitor storage utilization, database health, and ensure data integrity

3. Deep knowledge of DB2 architecture for standalone, HADR and TSA. [Text Wrapping Break]4. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

5. Troubleshooting: analyse and resolve complex production issues, deadlocks and analyze diagnostic and notification logs. [Text Wrapping Break]5. Manage DB2 Gateway server where 15-20 applications go through it. [Text Wrapping Break]6. Familiar with Backup strategies and hands on in configuring the commvault backups.

7. Disaster recovery including in TSA and cluster technologies. [Text Wrapping Break]8. Performance Tuning: Perform advanced performance tuning including SQL optimization , index strategies, bufferpool tuning, and explain plan analysis.

9. Understanding of the current database structures along with data integrity and suggesting the approaches for the migration process.

10. Cross platform migrations AIX to LINUX.

11. Handle database migrations from older versions 9.5 / 9.7/ 10.1 / 10.5 /11.1 to 11.5 and 12. Support: participate in 24*7 on-call support rotations.

13. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

14. Work on the data integrity issues as part of the migration.

15. Replication knowledge [Q / CDC].

16. Hands-on experience in Security compliance controls.

17. Transport layer security [TLS1.2] implementation and renewals.
