Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer – Assistant Vice President

The company's ML solutions team is looking for a Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer to design, build, and deploy advanced AI/ML and generative AI solutions. In this role, you'll work hands-on with stakeholders, mentor junior talent, and deliver scalable solutions that drive Citi's digital transformation.

Roles & Responsibilities for Data Scientist / ML Engineer Assistant Vice President

• Build and deploy AI/ML and generative AI solutions, ensure high quality and performance.
• Guide and support data analysts and ML engineers, helping them grow their skills and best practices.
• Test and evaluate AI models to maintain accuracy, quality, and performance.
• Contribute to research and stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML and generative AI.
• Work with experienced product managers, engineers, and data scientists to integrate AI technologies into Citi's products and services.

• Strong experience in AI generative technologies.
• Good understanding of supervised/unsupervised learning, clustering, and embeddings.
• Background in NLP, NER, Computer Vision, Transformers and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Knowledge of deep learning and Generative AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Crew AI, or similar.
• Familiarity with open-source tools like Hugging Face Transformers, Spacy, Pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy, OpenCV.
• Practical experience with ML/DL libraries: XGBoost, LightGBM, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras.
• Proficiency in Python with good software development practices.
