Travel Operations Management:
- Oversee day to day travel operations
- Ensure compliance with company travel policies and industry regulations.
- Assist travelers with itinerary adjustments, visa requirements, and travel disruptions.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data modelling) and Power BI (or other visualization tools) to track and report travel program performance.
- Ability to clean, transform, and analyze complex travel and expense data to generate insights.
- Familiarity with automated reporting tools and ability to develop dashboards for ongoing performance tracking.
- Ability to analyze T&E spend, travel trends, policy compliance, traveller behavior, and supplier performance to generate reports and provide actionable insights.
- Experience in defining and tracking KPIs for travel program performance, cost savings, and supplier SLAs.
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination:
- Work with travel agencies, and the category manager to negotiate competitive rates.
- Maintain relationships to ensure optimal service and pricing.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align travel processes with business needs.
Process Improvement & Compliance:
- Evaluate current travel processes and implement improvements for better efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to corporate travel policies and provide recommendations for updates.
- Develop training materials and resources for employees on travel best practices.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor s degree in business, Travel Management, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in travel operations, travel analysis, or corporate travel management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or data visualization tools.
- Experience with travel booking platforms (e.g., GDS, Concur, Amadeus) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and a data-driven mindset.
