Data Modeller

We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Modeler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data models. This role requires in-depth knowledge of functional domain, data architecture, database design, and the ability to translate business requirements into optimized data models. The Data Modeler will collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
 

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Modeler with 6–10 years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data models supporting enterprise data solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling and demonstrate the ability to translate complex business requirements into robust data architecture.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Develop dimensional models (Star and Snowflake schemas) for data warehousing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and interpret business requirements.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, partitioning, and query tuning.
• Work closely with data engineering and analytics teams.
• Maintain documentation and enforce data governance standards.
   

Technical Skills Required

• Expertise ER modeling, dimensional modeling, and normalization techniques.
• Proficiency in databases like Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure Synapse.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, SSIS.
• Experience with modeling tools like ERwin, ER/Studio.
• Advanced SQL and basic Python knowledge.

Mandatory Skills
