Job Description
Responsibilities :
- Own and drive the MES master data readiness workstream for global or multi-site rollouts
- Coordinate with plant teams, manufacturing engineers, and ERP teams to gather required master data elements:
- Materials/BOMs, Routings, Work Centers, Resources, Shifts, Personnel roles, Tools, Inspection characteristics
- Define data standards, templates, and governance models to ensure consistency across sites
- Lead data cleansing, enrichment, and validation activities in collaboration with SMEs
- Ensure alignment between MES master data and upstream systems (e.g., ERP, PLM)
- Support data load planning, execution, and reconciliation activities in MES systems
- Conduct gap assessments and define data remediation plans per site
- Provide support during go-lives, including data-related issue triaging and resolution
- Track progress through data readiness scorecards and dashboards
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
- Experience with multi-site MES rollouts
- Familiarity with data migration tools or middleware (e.g., LSMW, BODS, CPI, etc.)
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and digital shop floor processes
