We are seeking a Reference Data Management (RDM) Analyst to support our client in the pharmaceutical industry. This role involves managing and analyzing reference data, ensuring its accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across the organization. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to leverage existing RDM, create reference data backlogs, and maintain data governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop an overview of existing reference data that is currently managed and can be leveraged.
- Identify and create a backlog of reference lists based on business needs and priorities.
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive overview of reference data consumers within the organization.
- Collaborate with data owners, business teams, and IT stakeholders to enhance reference data usage and governance.
- Ensure reference data adheres to industry best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to the standardization, integration, and optimization of reference data processes.
- Work closely with data governance teams to maintain data integrity and consistency.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Reference Data Management (RDM), Data Governance, or Data Analytics.
- Strong understanding of reference data structures, metadata management, and data integration.
- Experience working with MDM, RDM tools, or data cataloging platforms.
- Familiarity with data governance best practices and compliance requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets and derive meaningful insights.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in an enterprise-level data environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data management solutions.
- Understanding of data lineage, data dictionaries, and data quality frameworks.
