Data Governance Analyst (MDM + DG)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Governance Analyst to support Inigo's data governance initiatives, with a primary focus on Collibra Data Governance and secondary experience in Master Data Management (MDM). The ideal candidate will ensure customer and reference data are well-governed, accurate, and consistently applied across business systems. This role is crucial to maintaining high-quality, trusted data that supports business decision-making and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the data governance function with emphasis on Collibra DG platform.
• Manage master data management (MDM), reference data management (RDM), and data quality processes.
• Ensure business definitions and data assets are documented, accessible, and aligned across the organization through the data catalogue and business glossary.
• Monitor data quality and manage issues proactively.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive data governance initiatives and compliance.
• Use SQL and Power BI for data analysis and investigation of data quality issues.
• Understand and ensure adherence to regulatory and audit requirements related to Lloyds data.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• 7 to 12 years of experience in data governance, master data management, or reference data management within a complex environment.
• Strong understanding of data management concepts: master data, reference data, data quality, business glossary, and data lineage.
• Practical experience with data quality monitoring and issue management.
• Familiarity with data catalogue and metadata management tools, especially Collibra.
• Good SQL, data analysis, and Power BI skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory and audit requirements, particularly related to Lloyds data.

Desirable Skills:

• Hands-on experience with MDM tools such as Profisee, Informatica, Reltio, or Microsoft MDS.
• Experience with data catalogue platforms like Collibra, Alation, or Purview.
• Familiarity with insurance or financial services data, including customer, policy, and claims data.
