Role Objective:

The selected candidates will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated MIS reporting workflows. The role involves bridging the gap between core banking data (Oracle Finacle) and the Big Data ecosystem (Hadoop/PySpark) to deliver high-quality financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize end-to-end ETL pipelines to migrate data from Oracle Finacle databases into Hadoop HDFS
• Write high-performance PySpark scripts for transforming raw banking data into structured formats
• Automate workflows using Linux CLI and Shell scripting (Bash)
• Generate and automate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
• Troubleshoot and debug data pipeline issues using Linux tools and logs
• Collaborate with team members on large-scale banking data migration projects

Technical Skills Required:

• Hands-on experience with Hadoop HDFS and Hive
• Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark
• Good knowledge of SQL, Oracle Database, and Finacle schemas
• Strong command over Linux/Unix environments
• Experience in Shell scripting for automation

Candidate Profile:

• 2–4 years of experience in a data-centric role within Banking, FinTech, or Financial Services
• Good understanding of banking operations and financial reporting
• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
