The Purpose of This Role
A skilled and motivated individual to strengthen our data ecosystem by contributing to development, reporting, and engineering efforts. This role focuses on processing and transforming Workforce data and related system data into meaningful insights that support core business functions.
Our Workforce Data Lake is built using Snowflake, AWS, Apache NiFi, Python, and Java. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in these technologies, along with a solid understanding of cloud platforms, to drive high-quality data engineering with a strong emphasis on security, scalability, and governance.

As a Data Engineer, you'll contribute to the development and support of critical data systems that drive business insights. You'll help move and transform data to the cloud using our approved technology stack AWS, Python, Apache NiFi, Snowflake, Oracle PL/SQL, and Informatica. Your work will support robust reporting capabilities and ensure data is delivered securely, efficiently, and in line with our engineering standards.
The Skills that are Key to this role
The Expertise you have
3+ years of experience in multiple IT areas that include Data Warehousing, AWS architecture, solution designing, Reporting tool and data modeling
Bachelors or Master's Degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Software) required
Technical / Behavioral
Work experience in Snowflake, Oracle, PL SQL and ETL tools like Informatica, good understanding of relational databases and data warehouses concepts
Good understanding of various AWS offerings. Preferably knowing the following software/tools:
S3, EC2, EMR, RDS, Dynamo DB, CFT, CLI / SDK
Apache NIFI and similar Ingestion tools
Object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, Scala, etc.
CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub)
Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
Must be able to work in a matrixed (onshore/offshore) environment.
Strong inter-personal and communication skills including written, verbal, and technology illustrations.
Capacity to quickly learn and incorporate new technologies.
