We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, cloud platforms, and modern data frameworks, with the ability to guide clients and teams in building next-generation data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and architecture of enterprise-scale data solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Define and implement data strategies, governance, and architecture best practices aligned to business needs.
- Architect and optimize data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, and real-time data processing solutions.
- Provide technical leadership for building data lakes, warehouses, and advanced analytics platforms.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and cloud-native services for data integration, storage, and consumption.
- Ensure data security, compliance, and governance practices are embedded in all solutions.
- Mentor teams on modern data architecture patterns including data mesh and domain-driven data ownership.
- Act as a trusted client advisor by presenting solution designs, conducting workshops, and driving architecture discussions.
Requirements
- 1522 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 5+ years in data architecture roles.
- Strong expertise in data processing frameworks and ETL/ELT pipeline development.
- Proven experience in architecture and deploying solutions on AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Hands-on expertise in data integration, real-time streaming, and API-based data access.
- Proficiency in data modelling (structured, semi-structured, and unstructured).
- Deep understanding of data lakes, data warehouses, and modern data architecture patterns (data mesh, lakehouse, etc.).
- Experience with tools such as Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, Databricks, Azure Synapse, Redshift, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of data security, compliance, and governance in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills with experience in client-facing roles.
