Role: Data Analyst

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and validate large volumes of technical data supporting migration initiatives.
• Perform data mapping, reconciliation, and data quality assessments.
• Develop and execute complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
• Work closely with engineering and platform teams to understand source systems and data models.
• Investigate data anomalies and support troubleshooting activities.
• Document data lineage, mappings, validation processes, and findings.
• Support testing and migration validation activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong SQL development and data analysis expertise.
• Experience working with Data Lakes and large-scale data platforms.
• Experience analysing and querying technical/platform data directly from source systems.
• Strong understanding of data structures, schemas, and data quality principles.
• Experience with data migration, reconciliation, and validation activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

• Banking or Financial Services experience.
• Exposure to ledger, finance, or regulatory datasets.
• Experience supporting large-scale migration or transformation programmes.
• Experience working within Agile delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years Data Analysis experience
• Proficient in SQL
