Summary:
Work closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Outreach to provide analytical support and assist with data-driven decision-making. Engage in data extraction, cleaning, preprocessing, and transformation to generate actionable insights. Design and build insightful dashboards to present actionable insights and drive business decisions. Design and author data pipelines to power the dashboards.

Requirements:
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering OR equivalent years of work experience.
- 3 years of strong hands-on experience with data analytics.
- Distinctive analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to implement and drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to synthesize and report both verbally and in writing.
Required Skills:
- Proficient with SQL, PowerBI, MS Excel, and other business tools such as Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Expert in writing SQL and familiar with multiple data sources and architectures (e.g., SQL Server, Presto, SparkSQL, U-SQL).
- Strong experience with data visualization and analytics platforms (preferably PowerBI).
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to "big data' technologies, particularly any part of a Spark, HBASE, Hadoop stack.
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design, and data mining techniques.
