Cyber Security Consultant - EDR & DLP

Key Responsibilities:

• Firewall Administration:ManageFortinet, Cisco FTD, and Palo Altofirewalls, ensuring optimal security configurations and compliance with best practices.
• SASE & Proxy Management:OverseeSASE technologies (Zscaler, Prisma, Umbrella, etc.)and Proxy systems to enhance secure remote access and cloud security.
• Policy & Rule Configuration:Modify and validatefirewall/VPN, IPS/IDS, SASE & Proxy policiesbased on business and security requirements.
• Incident Response & Troubleshooting:Proactively identify and resolvefirewall/VPN, IPS/IDS, & Proxyissues, ensuring continuous security coverage.
• Security Enhancements:Providetechnical supportfor initiatives improving the security posture of client networks.
• Automation & Optimization:Utilizeexisting tools and innovative solutionsto enhance security operations, scalability, and reliability.
• 24x7 On-Call Support:Participate in arotational rosterfor on-call duty to address critical incidents and security threats.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience withEnterprise Network Security and Perimeter Securitysolutions.
• Extensive knowledge ofFirewalls (Fortinet, Cisco FTD, Palo Alto), VPNs, IPS/IDS, and SASE technologies (Zscaler, Prisma, Umbrella, etc.).
• Proficiency in managingnetwork security policies, rule configurations, and troubleshooting security incidents.
• Familiarity withautomated security processesto improve efficiency and scalability.
• Ability to providetechnical expertise and supportto enhance overall security frameworks.
• Experience in handlingon-call security supportin a24x7 environment.
