Role and Responsibilities :
· Work closely with customers to gain an understanding of their business goals, technical requirements, and challenges. · Partner with Pre-Sales and Sales team, to be introduced, and establish close contact in the early days to understand customer use cases/timelines. · Maintain weekly/monthly cadence contact to educate, understand, and build strong relationships.
· Understand database architecture and various integration points with application development frameworks and analytical tools.
· Assist in the design and implementation of end-to-end solutions that align with customer needs and our product offerings. · Ensure the quality and reliability of delivered solutions by conducting timely reviews and validations to meet customer expectations. · Ensure customer issues are resolved on time and within scope by proactively addressing challenges. · Collaborate and coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and a consistent and positive customer experience.
· Evangelize best practices by educating customers and becoming their trusted advisor, providing an overall business solution.
· Share reports/dashboards to CSEs and regional heads with learnings and suggested actions.
· Conduct regular check-ins with customers to assess their satisfaction levels, identify opportunities for improvement, and address any issues or concerns. · Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and customer success metrics to track customer health and identify areas for improvement. Required Skills and Experience
· 8+ years of experience working with International customers in a post-sales technical role.
· Experience in Managing a team of Database Administrators / Architects.
· Deep experience and understanding of complex applications, distributed systems, and custom technology deployments in a variety of customer environments ·
Hands-on experience with several of the following technologies :
MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle SQL,
NoSQL, SingleStore, Key Value Stores, Python, Analytics, Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, and/or Big Data technology
· Deep expertise in relational/distributed database implementation, advanced SQL query optimization, and SQL query tuning.
· Technical familiarity with data storage and cloud technologies and protocols such as Kafka, S3, Monitoring/Observability (Data Dog, Grafana), security, encryption, Kubernetes, TCP/IP networking, virtualization, data backup/archive, public/private/ hybrid cloud, DR, HA, CDC, Replication, Backup/Restore
· Hands-on expertise and a firm understanding of SQL, Linux OS, and cloud storage
· Knowledge of cloud technologies · Exceptional written and oral communication skills
· Strong customer-focus mindset, with a passion for delivering customer satisfaction.
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other technical field
· This role requires extensive Global customer interaction experience.
