Job Description

The Customer Master Data Administrator role is an integral part of the Sales Operations team and is responsible for supporting our Sales Team for all types of transactions related but not limited to:life science research, manufacturing, surgical specializations, and education.This role is based in[insert location]. In this role, the Customer Master Data Administrator will be expected to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (finance, legal, customer service, service, IT, sales, marketing) and balance internal/external business operation demands. This individual will be responsible for all administrative duties, acts as the first line domain specialist as it relates to SAP, Data Architecture and Governance, HelpDesk, Quoting Tool,, eCommerce and other applications to ensure Customer Account Information continuity across platforms.

Major Responsibilities

  • Assist resolving simple administrative requests relating to SAP, and eCommerce systems

  • New Account Setup - Configure relationships of Sold-to Account type to appropriate Ship-To, Bill-to, Payer, and End User Account types

  • Audit account creation in CRM (

  • Remedy account redundancy and conflicting or out-of-date data

  • Assist with the expanding of business analytics capabilities by integrating 3rd party data

  • Assistmaintaining metrics and daily management/visual management dashboards

  • Other projects and duties as assigned


  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Great time management and organization skills

  • Great customer relations/service skills

  • Self-motivated and independent critical thinking

  • Goal oriented, results driven

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Work independently but able to interact as part of a team member

  • Prior experience in Database Administration for Customer Accounts

  • Prior experience with SAP and a plus

  • Analytical experience with proficient aptitude for research, analysis and problem solving skills
