Summary:
The key responsibility of the role will be to test our new Embedded Payroll Service, spanning
both back-end and front-end components. You will work closely with UX design colleagues and
Business Analysts before moving into the delivery of the overall product alongside Developers
and other QA Engineers.
You will be supported within a squad made up of a strong mix of lead, principal, senior, mid
level and graduate engineers.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Experience with Playwright automation
Experience using Github Co-Pilot as a complimentary tool building on your own skills
making deliver as efficient as possible.
Experience of programming languages – Python & SQL (Favourable).
Knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, DocumentDB
etc.)
Experience in front end testing with a focus on Playwright/Accessibility.
ooling experience – Bruno/Postman & Playwright.
Experience with Agile Development & SCRUM would be an advantage.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Manual/Cross Browser testing experience.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must Have Skills: Proficiency in Playwright.
- You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Business Analysts to ship an
elegant, performant, and reliable product that delivers a seamless user experience.
Work cross-functionally with various Sage teams: Product management, QA/XD, various
product lines and business units to deliver for our customers.
Experiment with new technologies and methodologies to improve our development
processes and product offerings.
Participate in refinements sessions to provide complete stories, with concise designs
and acceptance criteria ready for delivery by the engineering team.
Maintain relevant documentation to describe logic, coding/configuration, testing and
changes where applicable.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development lifecycle.
Be an active and enthusiastic team player. Partner effectively with all team members to
deliver against commitments.
Collaborate with global teams across Sage, to define, design, deliver and maintain other
services across the Payroll and HR Business Unit.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Playwright.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
