Job Title: Senior Executive Credit Control

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Executive Credit Control to join our Finance team at the Mumbai office. The role involves managing the end-to-end credit control process, from customer follow-ups and collections to reconciliations, reporting, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in IT/software industry collections and be adept at handling large corporate accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the credit control and collection process for assigned accounts in the Mumbai region.
- Regularly follow up with customers for outstanding payments and ensure timely collections.
- Conduct customer meetings to resolve payment issues and maintain strong client relationships.
- Perform account reconciliations and payment adjustments in SAP on time.
- Prepare and analyse MIS reports, PPTs, and spreadsheets (Forecast vs Collection).
- Strong focus on reconciliation, root cause analysis, and monitoring key metrics such as DSO, provisions, and ECL.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Finance, Tax, Billing) to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth processes.
- Manage large corporate accounts effectively with professionalism.
- Stay updated on taxation requirements; knowledge of GST will be an added advantage.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 10+2 with 60% marks, along with B.Com / M.Com degree.
- At least 26 years of experience in credit control/collections, preferably in the IT/software industry.
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and report preparation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to handle cross-functional coordination.
