About The Role
Dashverse is looking for a Creative Producer to run the creative and operational engine behind our AI micro-drama slate. You will lead a team of AI Filmmakers end to end — hiring them, training them, assigning their work, and holding the bar on everything they ship, across original shows, ads, and promo content. This is a people-management role as much as a creative one: you're accountable for the output, growth, and performance of your team, not just the shows themselves.
Key Responsibilities
- Vision Ownership: Translate a show's genre and tropes into a concrete visual language — shots, themes, colour palette, and pacing — that AI Filmmakers can execute against.
- Plan Episodes: Break scripts down into episode and shot-level plans, setting the direction before handing off to the team.
- Lead & Manage: Run a pod of AI Filmmakers — assign scripts, align them to the vision, and unblock production issues day to day.
- Hire & Train: Recruit new AI Filmmakers and creative technologists, and build the onboarding and training programs that get them productive on Dashverse's tools and pipeline.
- Creative Input: Guide narrative structure, pacing, and packaging across scripts so every episode, ad, and promo serves the story and the hook.
- Creative Ownership: Guide shot breakdowns, staging, and visual style across micro-drama shows, ads, and promo variants.
- QC & Craft: Participate in quality control on images, videos, cuts, music, and other assets — checking every piece against the vision before it ships.
- Set Creative Standards: Define and hold the visual and narrative bar for the team — give specific, actionable feedback that raises the quality of what ships.
- Performance Management: Track output, quality, and speed metrics for your team; run regular reviews and feedback loops that drive continuous improvement.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Growth/Marketing, Editors, Sound, and Post-production leads to keep creative output aligned with performance goals.
- Process & Tooling: Spot gaps in the current workflow and drive adoption of new AI tools, prompts, or skills that raise team output.
Skills & Experience
- 4+ years in video/content production, including 2+ years directly managing a creative team.
- Strong creative instincts with a deep understanding of narrative pacing, visual storytelling, and what makes short-form content watchable.
- Solid grasp of genre conventions and tropes, and how to translate them into concrete visual choices — shots, colour, pacing.
- Hands-on experience writing, structuring, or closely editing scripts for episodic or short-form content.
- Experience working with or overseeing AI-generated video content preferred — you understand the generative pipeline even if you're not hands-on with prompts daily.
- Proven track record hiring, training, and evaluating creative talent.
- Ability to give sharp, specific creative feedback that visibly raises a team's output, not just general notes.
- Strong instinct for short-form and micro-drama storytelling, and what keeps an audience watching.
- Data-informed approach to performance management — comfortable working with KPIs and dashboards.
- Excellent communication and cross-team leadership skills.
