Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and empathetic
Counselling Psychologist and Soft Skills Trainer with at least
5 years of experience in reputed higher education institutions or top MBA colleges. The ideal candidate will be passionate about student well-being and personality development, with strong expertise in counselling, training, and mentoring young adults.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one and group counselling sessions to students on emotional, academic, and personal issues.
- Design and deliver engaging soft skills, communication, and personality development programs for students across disciplines.
- Conduct workshops and sessions on stress management, career readiness, and emotional intelligence.
- Collaborate with faculty and administration to develop a student wellness and development framework.
- Maintain student records and counselling documentation in accordance with institutional policies.
- Support students in building confidence, interpersonal effectiveness, and employability skills.
- Participate actively in institutional initiatives related to student engagement and well-being.
Required Qualifications And Experience
- Master's degree in Psychology / Counselling Psychology / Applied Psychology from a recognized university.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Counsellor and Soft Skills Trainer in higher education institutions or reputed B-Schools.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering impactful training sessions.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with modern counselling approaches and student development techniques.
Preferred Attributes
- Certification in behavioural training, NLP, or life skills will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to working with diverse student groups and multicultural environments.
