We are looking for an experienced Cost Accountant to manage product costing, cost analysis, inventory accounting, and cost control activities for our manufacturing operations. The candidate will be based at our Sarigam Plant and will coordinate with Karajgam and Dadra Plants for costing and accounting activities. The ideal candidate should have strong manufacturing costing experience, SAP MM & PP knowledge, and exposure to product-wise costing.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle product-wise costing, cost sheets, and cost analysis for manufacturing products.
- Prepare and review standard costing, actual costing, and variance analysis.
- Analyze material, labour, overhead costs, and identify cost improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, and Finance teams for costing inputs.
- Manage inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, and consumption analysis.
- Work on SAP MM & PP modules for costing, material movements, and production-related transactions.
- Prepare MIS reports related to cost, production, consumption, and profitability.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
- Coordinate with Sarigam, Karajgam, and Dadra Plants for costing and accounting activities.
- Ensure accuracy of cost records and compliance with internal processes.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of product costing, manufacturing costing, and cost accounting principles.
- Experience in cost analysis, variance reporting, and inventory management.
- Hands-on experience with SAP MM & PP modules.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and cost drivers.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple plant locations.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MIS reporting.
Educational Qualification
- ICWA / CMA (Cost & Management Accountant) qualification mandatory.
- Graduation in Commerce / Finance preferred.
Experience
- 5-10 years of experience in Cost Accounting / Plant Finance / Manufacturing Finance.
- Candidates from manufacturing industries (Textile / Engineering / Chemical / Process Industry) preferred.
- Experience handling plant-level costing activities will be an advantage.
