Job Description

Content creation of technical products

Develop clear, concise, and comprehensive content for the brand's technical products, solutions, and processes. They should be able to comprehend and translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly content for the brand's target audience.

Marketing material creation and maintenance

With the support of web, design, and digital marketers, create and maintain content/copy for a wide range of marketing materials such as brochures, social media posts, videos, and more. Support end-users by creating user guides, FAQs, and other instructional materials. Respond to user feedback and update materials accordingly.

Collaboration

Work closely with the creative team and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure content accuracy. Participate in meetings to understand technical requirements and specifications and liaise between technical experts and the end-users.

Documentation management

Maintain and update existing documentation, such as brochures and guides. Organize and manage documentation repositories, ensuring easy access for relevant stakeholders.

Quality assurance

Review and edit documentation for clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand style guidelines. Ensure that documentation meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Review and editing

Review and edit documents for grammar, style, and accuracy and ensure compliance with company guidelines and industry best practices.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience

Proven experience as a content writer in the technology or software development industry and familiarity with documentation tools and software.

Must-have

  • 2+ years of experience as a content writer in the technology or software development industry
  • Proficient in US English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of authoring tools like MS Word, Google Docs, and Adobe PDF.
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex technical concepts.
  • Basic understanding of technical concepts and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Good-to-have

  • Experience in the technical writing role in the industry.
  • Knowledge of the latest trends in technical writing.
  • Knowledge of creating API documentation.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices.
