Job Description

Role Purpose

The Content Operations Lead will act as the bridge between the Content & Creative Strategy Lead and the junior execution team. The role is responsible for ensuring that the approved content strategy is translated into clear briefs, timelines, assets and publishing-ready outputs, while freeing the senior content lead to focus on larger brand, campaign and creative direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day execution of the social media content calendar across posts, stories, reels and campaign assets.

• Coordinate between the Content & Creative Strategy Lead, designers, creators, interns and external partners to ensure timely delivery.

• Translate approved content strategy into clear briefs, timelines, checklists and publishing-ready outputs.

• Review content for brand consistency, format readiness, copy hygiene and platform suitability before final approval.

• Track planned vs actual content output, basic performance signals and execution gaps to improve weekly planning.

• Support shoots, creator coordination, asset organization and content operations so the senior lead can focus on strategy and creative direction.

What the Role Is Expected to Own

• Weekly and monthly content calendar execution.

• Content brief creation and follow-through.

• Coordination with internal and external creative resources.

• Publishing readiness across Instagram and other social platforms.

• Basic content performance tracking and weekly execution reporting.

• Content asset hygiene, naming, organization and version control.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of experience in social media, content operations, creative coordination or digital marketing.

• Strong understanding of Instagram-first content formats including reels, carousels and stories.

• Comfortable working with designers, creators, interns and agency partners.

• Strong coordination, follow-up and deadline management skills.

• Good copy sense and ability to spot basic content, formatting and brand-tone issues.

• Ability to convert strategic direction into clear execution tasks.

• Interest in men's grooming, lifestyle, beauty, fashion or youth culture is preferred.
