Job Profile

We're on the lookout for an experienced Content Editor with a passion for delivering error-free content. Along with a strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail, you must have a firm grasp of the English language. The ideal candidate will know the difference between it's and its and cancelation and cancellation. Responsibilities:

Proofread blogs for syntax, punctuation, and grammatical errors (if any).

Work with writers to increase the readability of content and make it engaging for an American audience.

Improve content quality across Houzeo's different growth channels.

Optimize published blogs using SEO best practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor's / Master's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Mass Media, or any other related field.

Minimum 2 years of work experience as a content editor/writer.

Excellent written and verbal English language skills and a keen eye for detail.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Must be able to find current authoritative sources and fact-check all information.

Bonus Points if:

You have prior experience writing/editing American English.
