This is full-time role focused on IT Projects with the ability to deliver against strict deadlines and business requirements.
The person will work on a variety of projects in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. The person will be responsible for software development activities of KPMG, India. Part of the development team, he/she will work on the full life cycle of the process, develop code and unit testing. He/she will work closely with Technical Architect, Business Analyst, user interaction designers, and other software engineers to develop new product offerings and improve existing ones. Additionally, the person will ensure that all development practices are in compliance with KPMGs best practices policies and procedures. This role requires quick ramp up on new technologies whenever required.

Job Title : Azure Data Engineer / Lead / Expert
Location : Mumbai/ Pune/Bangalore/ Hyderabad/ Gurgaon (preferable)
Experience : 6-9yrs
Skills Required
- Experience on Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS2) and working with CSV/ XML/ JSON/ Parquet files. (Must)
- Azure Storage Services (Blob Storage (Must), Azure File Share, Azure File Sync)
- Azure Data Factory (Must)
- RDBMS ( SQL Server/ Azure SQL DB /Managed Instance/ Azure Synapse DW) (Must)
- TSQL Programming, ETL activities (Data profiling, cleansing, transformation) (Must)
- Azure Databricks (Must)
- Azure Analysis Service, Azure Devops (Nice to have)
- Data Modelling and Data Architecture (Nice to have)
- Reports and Analytics development using SQL
- Knowledge of Power BI
- Python (Nice To Have)
- NoSQL databases ( Azure Cosmos DB)
Experience
- Must have delivered at least two data engineering projects using azure data services.
- Must have experience in client facing roles and also managing team of data engineers
- Experience delivering services across relevant use cases with proven effectiveness
- Eagerness to exploring new tools and techniques for implementation
- Strong problem solving and logical approach skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Consistent display of technical proficiency
- Ability to work well in teams; mentor others and learn from team members with equal openness and enthusiasm
- Ability to work under pressure stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or higher in Information Technology , Engineering, or a related field.
- B.E / B.Tech/ BCA/ MBA/ MCA Full-Time Education
