Use AutoCAD & Revit software to create and modify technical drawings, models, and plans for ELV/Security system projects.
Work closely as a team with Security System Design Consultant/Project Managers to ensure drawings are accurate and meet design specifications.
Convert hand-drawn sketches, existing Security drawings, or other data into Standard drawings as per Global standards.
Create and update bill of materials and other documentation as needed.
Review and check drawings for accuracy, quality, and completeness.
Incorporate changes or revisions into drawings as required.
Communicate with project stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure drawings meet project needs.
Assist in the preparation of design and RFP documents.
Participate in project meetings and coordinate with other team members as needed.
Create 3D models and simulations to visualize and test design concepts.
Security system knowledge on various systems, and platforms to create wiring & GA Drawings.
Spatial and design skills to be able to visualize & prepare Elevation drawings which include mainly Access Control system Door elevations, Panel Elevations, and CCTV Camera mounting details.
Preparation of wiring connection drawings, develop system Architecture & schematic drawings.
Adapt to learn different design standard formats of various clients.
Meeting drawing delivery commitments as per project schedule, Effective time management.
Incorporation of evolving new technologies & products in design wherever applicable.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Diploma, ITI, or equivalent Technical Courses, CAD Certified, Revit Certified.
Minimum of 3 - 4 years of experience in the design and drafting of ELV/Security systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD software.
Proficiency in Revit Software is a Plus.
Knowledge of engineering or architectural principles, terminology, and design standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new software and technologies.
