Role Description The Commi Continental role at CALCUTTA 64 is a full-time, on-site position based in Kharagpur. The Commi Continental team member supports the kitchen in preparing and cooking continental dishes under the guidance of senior chefs, following standard recipes and portion sizes. Daily responsibilities include assisting in mise en place, basic cooking, plating dishes, and maintaining high standards of food quality and consistency. The role also involves adhering to hygiene and safety protocols, keeping workstations clean and organized, and properly storing ingredients. The Commi Continental works closely with the kitchen and service teams, supports smooth operations during service hours, and contributes to a positive, respectful work environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Food Preparation and Cooking skills, with a focus on continental cuisine.
- Candidates should possess solid Culinary Skills, including basic knife skills, understanding of cooking methods, and plating techniques.
- Candidates should possess good Hygiene practices, including knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and cleanliness in the kitchen.
