Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with service providers to resolve telecom and service issues at various locations.
  • Process and arrange tickets raised in the helpdesk for retail requirements such as Walkies, SIMs, and data cards.
  • Submit invoices to finance and follow up for timely payments to avoid service disruptions.
  • Work with internal teams such as Purchase to ensure PR/PO creation and bill processing.
  • Coordinate and procure specific telecom requirements like VMNs and fancy numbers based on approved costs.
  • Ensure timely AMC renewals for telecom and IT components.
  • Optimize the usage of PRI and other telecom services for cost efficiency.
  • Monitor SMS costs daily and alert concerned teams of any unusual trends.
  • Conduct quarterly negotiations with service providers to achieve cost savings.
  • Manage termination of telecom services and ensure proper closure with service providers.
  • Perform quarterly audits on telecom assets (e.g., SIMs) to verify active usage and remove inactive ones.
  • Update Truecaller records and track the use of value-added services by executives.
  • Tag and update assets like SIMs and data cards weekly; collect and record terminations in the Asset Tool.
  • Collect UTR details from finance and update service providers upon payment completion.
  • Publish monthly expense reports and projections for communication bill payments.
  • Prepare quarterly cost projections considering new openings or closures.
  • Ensure collection of No Dues Certificates from telecom operators.
  • Prepare annual communication budgets and forecasts based on usage trends.
  • Follow up with service providers for invoices across PAN India and compile consolidated reports.
  • Manage procurement of IT assets, software licenses, and telecom services with support from the purchase team.
  • Handle helpdesk tickets related to telecom and asset requirements such as ILL, SIMs, ISDN lines, walkies, broadband, and dongles.
  • Validate invoices related to asset procurement and telecom services.
  • Coordinate employee separation activities related to IT and telecom assets with internal teams (Purchase, Finance, Asset).
  • Manage asset inward and outward records, tagging, tracking, and reconciliation (Physical vs FAR).
  • Oversee retail assets inventory, AMC support, and disposal of retired assets.
  • Coordinate with purchase and system administration teams for asset disposal and software compliance.
  • Follow up on PR/PO approvals, invoice payments, and vendor service statuses.
  • Ensure asset stickering, scanning, and adherence to asset management policies.
  • Maintain strong coordination with vendor partners, service providers, and operators to ensure smooth operations.
