Key Responsibilities:
1. Supply Chain & MSME Collection Management
- Manage end-to-end collections for Supply Chain Finance (SCF) products, focusing on vendor discounting, dealer financing, and factoring.
- Oversee debt recovery from SME/MSME corporate borrowers, ensuring a balance between firm recovery tactics and maintaining long-term business relationships.
- Monitor Anchor performance and coordinate with corporate anchors to facilitate collections from their respective SME ecosystems (vendors/distributors).
2. Co-Lending & Partnership Strategy
- Act as the primary liaison for collection operations with Co-lending partners/Partners (Banks and larger NBFCs).
- Ensure that all collection activities align with the specific SLAs and risk-sharing agreements defined in partnership contracts.
- Manage complex fund flow reconciliations and reporting requirements unique to co-lending setups.
3. Policy Formulation & Strategy
- Develop and iterate the Collection Policy and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for corporate and SME segments.
- Design data-backed strategies for different delinquency buckets, specifically tailored for B2B and supply chain cycles.
- Implement Early Warning Signals (EWS) to identify potential stress in MSME accounts before they move into overdue buckets.
4. Corporate Recovery & Legal Coordination
- Lead high-value negotiations with large corporate borrowers and promoters for stressed asset resolution.
- Coordinate with the legal team to initiate and track recovery actions under Section 138, SARFAESI, and NCLT where necessary.
- Manage and audit third-party collection agencies or legal facilitators specialized in corporate recovery.
5. Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure 100% adherence to RBI's Fair Practices Code and guidelines on Outsourcing of Financial Services.
- Provide regular portfolio health dashboards to Senior Management, highlighting GNPA trends, resolution rates, and partnership-specific performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Core Experience:7+ years in collections, with at least 3 years of direct experience in Supply Chain Finance or Co-lending/Partnership frameworks.
- Segment Expertise: Proven track record of managing collections for MSME/SME corporates and dealing with Large Corporate treasuries.
- Strategic Capability: Experience in drafting collection manuals, policies, and implementing automated collection workflows.
- Education:Graduation/ Post Graduation
- Location: Must be able to operate from the Marol, Mumbai office.
Technical Competencies:
- Strong understanding of Loan Management Systems (LMS) and SCF platforms.
- Expertise in B2B credit cycles and trade finance instruments.
- Advanced analytical skills (Excel/PowerBI) for portfolio segmentation and trend analysis.
