We are seeking a motivated Collection Executive to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in collections or customer service, with a strong ability to communicate effectively and negotiate payment arrangements. This role involves contacting customers to collect outstanding payments, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with the finance team to resolve any discrepancies.

Responsibilities

  • Contacting customers to collect outstanding payments
  • Negotiating payment plans and settlements with clients
  • Maintaining accurate records of payment activities
  • Updating customer information in the database
  • Collaborating with the finance team to resolve discrepancies
  • Preparing reports on collection status and outstanding debts
  • Following up with customers regularly via phone and email

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in collections or customer service roles
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with collection software and databases
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
