Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with expertise in AWS and Azure cloud migration, Cloud migration tools, and strong experience in Oracle, PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server database administration. The ideal candidate will lead the migration of on-premises databases to AWS/Azure, optimize cloud infrastructure, and ensure seamless transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute migrations of Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server databases to AWS and Azure
• Utilize cloud native services/Tools (e.g. AWS DMS) and open-source tools, develop custom tools for large-scale data migrations.
• Develop & maintain terraform modules and patterns.
• Design and implement database migrations with minimal downtime and data integrity checks.
• Perform database performance tuning, backups, and recovery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve migration issues.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of AWS/Azure cloud migration experience
• Proficiency in Oracle, Postgres and MS SQL Server DBA tasks.
• Strong knowledge of database architecture and automation tools.
• Expert in terraform.
• AWS/Azure certification preferred.
