Job Description
Must Have:
- Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure solutions to support business applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Deploy cloud resources (compute, storage, networking, databases, etc.) using appropriate cloud services and technologies.
- Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates) to automate cloud resource provisioning.
- Maintain and monitor cloud infrastructure and services to ensure they are running efficiently, securely, and cost-effectively.
- Implement disaster recovery, backup strategies, and high availability configurations. Troubleshoot cloud-based systems, networks, and applications to identify and resolve issues. Implement security best practices to safeguard cloud infrastructure, including network security, access control, encryption, and identity management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
- Automate and manage security patches and updates for cloud environments.
- Optimize cloud resource usage to reduce costs, ensuring resources are right-sized and used efficiently.
- Regularly review cloud provider billing and usage reports to monitor spending and identify savings opportunities.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines and enhance automation.
