About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with hands-on experience in AWS cloud services, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices. You will contribute to building, deploying, and maintaining cloud-native environments while working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage AWS cloud environments (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc.).
- Support infrastructure automation using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Assist with CI/CD pipeline configuration using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline, or similar.
- Participate in monitoring, backup, patching, and operational support.
- Troubleshoot cloud and infrastructure issues and assist with root-cause analysis.
- Work with container tooling (Docker, ECR) and contribute to Kubernetes-based deployments (optional but preferred).
- Assist in platform security and compliance best practices across AWS workloads.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and SOPs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, platform engineering, and application teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 25 years of hands-on experience working with AWS cloud technologies.
- Strong understanding of AWS core services and networking essentials (VPC, route tables, Subnets, Security Groups, NACLs).
- Experience with Linux systems administration.
- Working knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and DevOps tooling (Git, CI/CD platforms).
- Scripting proficiency in Bash (intermediate/advanced) and Python (beginner).
Good to Have
- Exposure to Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and containerization.
- Experience migrating workloads from on-prem or other cloud environments.
- Familiarity with AWS security services (GuardDuty, KMS, Inspector, WAF, etc.).
- AWS Certification (Associate level preferred).
